ROKO THALASSEMIA (Prevention & Awareness of Thalassemia)
Under this commendable initiative, Mahavir International Social Foundation (MISF) is actively engaged in raising awareness among couples who are planning to marry about the importance of pre-marital tests. This significant effort emphasizes the need for couples to undergo essential medical tests before finalizing their marriage, ensuring a healthy and informed start to their journey together. Moreover, the program extends its impact to newlywed couples, urging them to undergo tests before planning to have children. By advocating for such preventive measures, MISF is promoting the well- being of future generations and enabling couples to make informed decisions regarding their family planning.
DAVINDER KUMAR BALVEER PATHSHALA
In a dedicated effort to bridge the educational gap and bring positive change, MISF has established the school for Divyang (Deaf & Dumb and MR) and under privileged children at 1 K Community Centre, NIY, Faridabad – at present catering to 80 children in total.
MAHAVIR SILAI AND KADHAI KENDRA: (Women Empowerment)
Empowering women lies at the core of Mahavir International Social Foundation's (MISF) mission, and one of their transformative projects exemplifies this commitment. Through this initiative, MISF is providing training to women from the nearby areas, equipping them with valuable skills in stitching and embroidery.
MAHAVIR COMPUTER TRAINING CENTRE
Mahavir International Social Foundation (MISF) continues its impactful efforts by running a Computer Training Centre that aims to equip nearby boys and girls with essential digital skills. The center offers comprehensive training covering the basics of computer usage, including word processing, spreadsheet management, creating presentations, accessing networks, and managing email correspondence. Moreover, for those showing aptitude, the training extends to software operations like accounting and website management.
Faridabad Roti Bank
Faridabad Roti Bank, an exclusive initiative of MISF stands as a beacon of compassion and care through its exclusive initiative of "Serving Daily Tiffin Seva." This heartfelt effort is aimed at providing sustenance and support to a special group of individuals within the community. The recipients of this service include selected senior citizens, as well as those who face physical and mental challenges and lack caretakers.
BABY KIT PROJECT
The Baby Kit project had very humble beginnings. Startling revelations related to infant mortality and infant illness due to unhygienic infant clothes motivated members of Mahavir International Indore to start the Baby Kit Project way back in 2001. It was observed that women from rural and illiterate backgrounds were coming to the maternity hospital and wrapping their newborn infants in tattered dirty clothes or their own "Odhnis' '
MAHAVIR MEDI BANK
Mahavir Medi-Bank, an initiative aims to provide support to patients who are bedridden or in need of medical equipment for various durations. Many individuals face challenges accessing essential medical equipment due to high rental costs or the impracticality of purchasing equipment that becomes redundant post-treatment. Mahavir Medi Bank seeks to address this issue by offering a wide range of medical equipment at minimal costs, supported by security deposits and minor administrative charges.
PHYSIOTHERAPY & ACUPRESSURE CENTER
Mahavir International Social Foundation i s excited to introduce our Acupressure & Physiotherapy Centre at Kewal Prem Bhawan. Our mission is to democratize access to alternative therapies, providing affordable solutions for diverse body pains. With a steadfast commitment to holistic health and community well- being, our center emphasizes implicity and accessibility, ensuring that everyone can avail themselves of these life- enhancing treatments.
